The 10th edition of the Projek Kasih charity concert was conducted in Malay and successfully raised S$1,277,130, surpassing the Ain Society’s initial target of S$700,000. Last year’s charity concert raised S$1,485,281.The two-hour concert at the Mediacorp Theatre on Friday (Jan 10) was graced by the presence of Ain Society’s Patron, Puan Halimah Yacob.
The largest donation received by the Ain Association in this year’s charity concert came from Sunny Low Dance Production Studio, which contributed S$360,000 to the organization, which is S$110,000 more than she donated to Ain Society in the previous each two years. Principal Aleena Tan said::”These children so young, it’s sad they have cancer. They don’t have enough money. They need help. I donated S$250,000 last year…” Her kind act makes people feel the deep care of this Chinese “dancer” for Malay cancer patients.
Ain Society Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Haji Md Yusof Ismail, expressed his confidence in the generosity of the Singaporean people, “We are confident in the generosity of the Singaporean community, especially the Malay/Muslim community. As long as charities organize fundraisers with the pure intention of helping those in need,” said Haji Md Yusof. He also stressed that transparency in fund management is very important to ensure continued support from the community. “If charities themselves practice a transparent and open attitude in the administration of funds, our community, even if cautious, will still want to contribute and support any noble cause. Moreover, the transparency is very noticeable,” he added.
This year’s concert, which has the theme “Fragile, Fragile Ihsan Segunung Harapan”, aims to highlight how kindness can give hope to cancer patients who are going through hardship and grief. Well-known personalities, Marina Yusoff and Khairudin Saharom, once again teamed up as hosts. “We as a society are like a cliff. Our strength lies in how we support and lift up the weak,” said Khairudin. He added that this year’s Kasih Project had a deeper and different impact than previous years. “It is heart-warming because it shows how cancer knows no age, race, or status. This year, we are presenting very touching stories, from children to senior citizens who are also affected by this health challenge,” said Khairudin.
Famous singer, Ziana Zain, expressed her gratitude and thanks for being invited to perform at the Projek Kasih charity concert. “I really like doing events like this, especially to raise funds for those in need. This is to raise awareness to everyone where we are, we sit and eat comfortably, go anywhere comfortably, even for medical treatment we can still afford,” said Ziana. She also emphasized the importance of this event in providing support to cancer patients.
“This event is open to everyone to donate for those with cancer, and this is one event that can reduce the burden. This is not only collecting donations but also telling cancer patients that we also care about them and they are not left out, and with the donations that have been given, this shows that we care,” said Ziana again.

昨晚，第十届“爱心计划”（Projek Kasih）慈善音乐会在新传媒电视演播厅举行，全程以马来语进行，已成功筹集到一百二十七万七千一百三十新元(S$1,277,130)，远远超出爱恩协会（Ain Society）最初设定的七十万元捐款目标。
其中最大一笔捐款来自刘山尼舞蹈学院（Sunny Low Dance Production Studio)，陈爱玲总裁代表学院今年捐出了36万新元，比前两年她对爱心计划的捐款各多出十余万元，她的善举，让人感受到这位华族“舞侠” 对马来同胞癌症患者们那深深的关爱之情。
这次音乐会全程以马来语进行，因赞助人前总统哈莉玛的莅临而蓬荜生辉，她在进入主会场之前，先到旁边的会客厅会见了陈爱玲女士和其他赞助者一行。
爱恩协会总裁尤索夫（Haji Md Yusof Idmail）表示对新加坡人们的慷慨充满信心。他说：“我们对新加坡社群尤其是对马来族和穆斯林社群充满信心，慈善组织筹款活动存粹是帮助有需要的人。” 他还强调，资金管理的透明度对于确保社区支持非常明显和重要，如果慈善机构本身在资金管理方面采取透明和开放的态度，我们的社区即使谨慎，仍会愿意贡献和支持任何崇高的事业。
今年的音乐会以“Fraglie Ihsan segunung harapan”为主题，旨在强调善良如何为正在经历苦难和悲伤的癌症患者带来希望。知名人士玛丽娜•尤索夫(Marina Yusoff）和凯鲁丁•萨哈罗姆(Khairudin Saharom) 再次联手担任主持人。凯鲁丁说：”我们作为一个社会，就像站在悬崖上，如何把弱者拉上来，他说今年的爱心计划比往年产生更深刻与不同的影响，这使人感到温暖，因为癌症患者不分种族和年龄。今年我们将呈现非常感人的故事，从儿童到老人也受到这一健康挑战的影响。”
著名歌手Ziana Zain对受邀出席“爱心计划”慈善音乐会表示感谢，她说：“我喜欢这样的活动，特别是能为有需要的人筹集资金，这让我们认识到我们可以坐着舒服地坐着吃饭，可以去任何想去的地方，也可以负担医疗费用，这个活动向所有人开放，为癌症患者捐款，告诉癌症患者，我们也关心他们。”
