难忘校园之旅 不忘狮城之行

Before visiting Deyi Secondary School, I was very excited. This is the first time for me to interact with foreign students, and I really want to seize this opportunity to understand the cultural differences between Singapore and China and make more new friends. I was afraid I couldn’t communicate well to my new classmates but after hearing them speak fluent Chinese, I was immediately relieved. By taking classes with them, I really appreciate their rich curriculum content and active thinking. Students in Singapore have good things to say about many of their teachers. The Singaporean students I met were very cheerful and friendly, and they were happy to share with me interesting things that happened to them at school. Here, I would like to especially thank Ho Zi En, who showed me around the school and helped me adapt to school life. She is a hardworking, talented girl and I feel very lucky to have met such a passionate girl. I wish her achieve all her goals in the future. Also, I appreciate the extracurricular activities of Singapore students. Through serious participation in these activities, they can gain all-round growth, which is very similar to the whole personality education philosophy in Beijing Middle School. Finally, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the teachers and students of Deyi School for their warm reception!
Through visiting the campus, sightseeing spots and asking questions during interviews, I deeply felt the customs and multiculturalism of Singapore, and I hope to visit the Lion City again in the future.
